One person is dead following a motorcycle accident in Wayne County.
State Police say an unidentified 36-year-old man was riding on State Route 89 at Montana Road in Butler on Friday when he lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson on a wet, curved portion of the roadway. The man went off the west shoulder of the road and was thrown off his bike and into a wooded area. Despite numerous life-saving measures, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the victim made no other contact with any other riders in his group that was on their way to Atlantic City. The investigation is ongoing.
The Wayne County Coroner also responded to the scene to assist State Police in its investigation.
