A Wayne County man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly driving his car onto the greens of the Blue Heron Hills Golf Course in Walworth.
After allegedly causing damage to the turf and marking on the course, 33-year-old Zachary Henderson drove away. He was later found at his Sherwood Drive home and taken into custody.
Police have ruled out drugs or alcohol in the incident and are still trying to determine why Henderson drove his car from Gananda Parkway onto the greens.
Henderson was charged with criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and failure to keep right.
