The two Ontario County men arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting at an Auburn bar have been indicted by a grand jury.

According to Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci, the indictment alleges Angelo Diaz Jr and Matthew Williams-McIntyre possessed a loaded handgun that is believed to have been used in the Wednesday morning shooting outside Harley’s Pub at 149 State Street.

The two Geneva residents each face one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a violent felony. Antonacci adds police are continuing their investigation and additional charges may be forthcoming.

The pair were arraigned and are being held at the Cayuga County jail. Their next court date is scheduled for January 4.
