Update (7:46p): Two men are in custody in connection to the Wednesday morning shooting and stabbing incidents that occurred at Harley’s Pub at 149 State Street, Auburn.
Angelo Diaz and Matthew Williams-McIntyre were both arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon. The charges stem from a grand jury proceeding.
The two 27-year-old men, both from Geneva were taken to the Cayuga County Jail.
As for the victims, both men are expected to be released from the hospital in the near future.

Update (11:09a): More information is available on the shooting and stabbing that happened Wednesday morning at one Auburn bar.
Police report responding to Harley’s Pub at 149 State Street just after 2:00a for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found one man with a gunshot wound and another with a stab wound.
Both victims were taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
Officers learned that others involved in the shooting and stabbing had fled the area in a vehicle. They were quickly located and, at the time of reporting, were being detained for questioning.
No further information is being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing; however, the department says there is no threat to the public as all individuals involved have been accounted for.

(09:46a, Nov 29, 2023 ): A shooting in the city of Auburn is under investigation.
Police Chief James Slayton said the shooting and a separate assault happened in the area of 149 State Street, which is the address of Harley’s Pub. No other details were provided but Slayton did say there is no danger to the public. The department is asking the public to avoid State Street, between Van Anden and Wall streets and North Lewis Street, between Seymour Street and Arterial West.
The department will release more information later today.
