A Geneva man will spend the next 14 years behind bars for his role in a 2022 Auburn gunfight.
The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that Zachariah McKoy was sentenced to a 14-year determinate sentence plus five years of post-release supervision. On September 21, 2023, he pled guilty to felony Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon charges.
On June 26, 2022, McKoy and co-defendant Antoine Clark of Rochester fired at each other outside Lavish Lounge during an argument. An employee at the bar, Ciara Kukiela, was hit multiple times in the crossfire and seriously injured.
Clark had previously pled guilty to two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision.
