    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

Four Arrested for Disrupting Christmas Eve Church Service in Seneca County

Four people were arrested in Seneca County on Christmas Eve after police say they disrupted a Christmas Eve church service.

The four are accused of entering the Ernsberger Road church in Varick last Sunday night and disrupting the service by making negative comments about Christianity. Christopher Avila, of Farmington, Jeremy Mathias, of Fulks Run, Virginia, Daniel Watson, of Rochester, and Nathan Jackson, of Rochester, are charged with conspiracy, trespass, and disruption of a religious service.

They will appear in Varick Town Court at a later date.

New York State Police and Waterloo Police Department assisted the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department.
