UPDATE: State Police Identify Bicyclist Killed in Farmington Accident

A 52-year-old Farmington woman has been identified as the victim in Wednesday’s fatal car versus bicycle accident on State Route 332, just south of State Route 96.

Troopers say Candy Rau was killed when the bicycle she was riding apparently crossed from the northbound into the southbound lanes where she was struck by a car. The driver of the car, who has yet to be identified, was taken to Thompson Hospital for minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
