A 19-year-old had to be rescued by firefighters after he crashed his car into a tree in Wayne County.
An investigation determined Kody Luckenbach was driving south on East Bay Road in Huron shortly before 11 Saturday night when his car left the road and collided with a tree. Luckenbach was semi-conscious suffering from an apparent head injury and had to be extricated by Wolcott Firefighters. Luckenbach was airlifted to Strong for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
