A Henrietta man was seriously injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer Friday on State Route 104 in the Town of Wolcott.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of Route 104 and Route 370 when a tractor-trailer driven by 47-year-old Jeremie Faustin of Orlando, Florida, attempted to turn west onto Route 104 from Route 370.
Deputies say Faustin failed to yield the right of way, causing 26-year-old Ahmed Sulieman, who was traveling east on Route 104, to collide with the trailer.
Sulieman had to be extricated by fire crews and was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
