A two-car rollover accident in Ontario County sent a Clifton Springs man to the hospital over the weekend.
Authorities say a driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Freshour Road at County Road 19 in Manchester, striking a pickup truck driven by 70-year-old David Race. The truck rolled multiple times, trapping Race inside until Shortsville firefighters were able to free him. He was taken to Strong for head, neck, and back injuries.
The other driver, a 26-year-old Zachary Tenny, of Cameron Mills, was not hurt and was cited for failing to stop at the stop sign.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
