Police say a lengthy investigation into the distribution of cocaine in and around the Canandaigua area culminated this week with the arrest of a Canandaigua man.

The investigation, led by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division led to Jeffrey Johnson being arrested after officers stopped his car as he exited the Thruway at Exit 43 in Manchester. Multiple search warrants were executed Monday night and Tuesday which resulted in authorities seizing the following:

  • 6.7 pounds of Mushroom (with suspected Psilocybin)
  • 1.6 kilograms Ketamine
  • 27.9 ounces MDMA
