An Ontario County man has been arrested on a charge of predatory sexual assault against a child under the age of 13.
The charges against Zachary Rogers of Bloomfield stem from an investigation conducted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and Child Protective Services where it was alleged the 40-year-old had criminal sexual contact with a person under the age of 13.
Rogers, who was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, was sent to Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail following his arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
