One of the two men accused of stealing an SUV with a dog inside of it has pled guilty to Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
According to the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office, Jay Garrigan of Auburn admitted to trading drugs for the stolen Jeep.
The SUV was reported stolen on August 6 from the Waterloo Premium Outlets. The next day, state police spotted the vehicle in Aurelius and arrested Garrigan along with the driver, Charles Donato of Fleming. Both were charged with a felony and a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of stolen property.
Glenn, the 6-year-old Maltese-Yorkie mix, was recovered unharmed.
