A half-million dollars in grant funding is going to help Ontario County make improvements to Deep Run Park, one of only nine public access parks on Canandaigua Lake.
The money from the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s Environmental Protection Fund will be used for a project to add a paddle point, provide beach upgrades and green infrastructure and bioretention, along with parking lot and sidewalk improvements.
The county says there will also be a focus on ADA compliance and universal design throughout.
