The Dundee Fire Department has welcomed a new fire apparatus to its fleet with the arrival of PT6, a 1,500-gallon pumper tanker built by 4 Guys Fire Trucks in Pennsylvania.

Department officials announced the addition this week, saying the new truck will help enhance emergency response capabilities and serve the community for years to come.

In a statement, the department expressed excitement about placing PT6 into service and thanked everyone who played a role in making the purchase possible. Officials also recognized members of the department’s truck committee, who spent countless hours planning, designing, and specifying the apparatus to ensure it would meet the needs of both firefighters and the community.

According to the department, the committee’s dedication, attention to detail, and commitment throughout the process were instrumental in bringing the new pumper tanker to Dundee.

The department said it looks forward to putting PT6 into service and using it to help protect residents throughout the community.
