If you live in Weedsport, time is running out to submit your proposals for the village’s NY Forward application.
Proposals need to be submitted by next Wednesday for potential inclusion in the application being sent to the state in October.
Weedsport is hoping to secure $4.5 million in NY Forward funding to help revitalize its downtown.
Javier Zavelata is the planner with the Cayuga County Planning & Economic Development Department assisting the village with its grant application. He previously told Finger Lakes News Radio that the submission deadline was extended from the end of August after the state announced it was accepting NY Forward applications until mid-October as opposed to its normal deadline of September.
