The City of Auburn is one step closer to repairing the over 150 year old stone bridge on Aurelius Ave.
City Council got to see a presentation by Assistant Civil Engineer Scott McIntyre and Popli Design sharing two options to repair the bridge.
Rehabilitation of the bridge would modernize the structure while keeping the original arches intact. The second option would be to completely rebuild the structure, creating a single arch across the water.
The project will require the approval of the New York State Office of Historic Preservation.
