One Cayuga County village will continue its newest fall tradition.

Union Springs has announced its Fall Festival Block Party will return for its second year in September.

Taking place in the downtown business district, the event will feature artisans, food trucks, music, kids’ activities, a chili cook-off, and more. Pre-registration for the cook-off is required and can be done by contacting Deputy Mayor Donna O’Hara at [email protected].

Local businesses are also invited to take part in a scarecrow competition, with the winning scarecrow featured on the village’s website, and the winner receiving $500 worth of advertising on WAUB and Classic Hits 99.3. More information on the competition can be found on the village’s Facebook page.

The Fall Festival Block Party will be held from 12:00-4:00p on Saturday, September 27.
