State Police Satellite Station Opens in Town of Conquest

SHARE NOW

Cayuga County has a new State Trooper station.

Troop E Commander, Major Brian Ratajczak officially called the Conquest satellite station into service Thursday.

Two troopers will now be stationed at the 270 sq ft station located at the Conquest Municipal Center at 1289 Fuller Road.

Nearly 30 minutes north of the Auburn station, this new satellite aims to cut down response times to the northern part of the county, especially during busy seasons at Fair Haven State Park, by more than half. Being situated in Conquest, the office is in the vicinity where SP Auburn patrols receive the majority of their calls for service.

Another added benefit of the northern Cayuga County location is that troopers stationed there can not only serve Cayuga County but also the southeast corner of Wayne County.
