One local fire department has a new tool to help its members keep the public safe.
The Owasco Fire Department took delivery of a new Utility Task Vehicle this week. The department purchased the vehicle at no cost to taxpayers as it used monies from donations and fundraisers.
The UTV will be stationed out of Owasco Station 2 and will serve as a wildland fire suppression vehicle.
