The Seward House is giving you a chance to look behind the scenes of TV making with a unique lecture on costuming for historical shows and movies.
Costume designer Katie Irish will discuss her work on the TV miniseries Manhunt about the search for John Wilkes Booth following the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and how she worked with the museum for the program.
Costuming Manhunt will take place at the Equal Rights Heritage Center on Thursday from 6:00-7:00p.

On April 14, 1865, Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth and his coconspirators attempted to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln, Vice President Andrew Johnson, and Secretary of State William H Seward.
Only Booth proved successful in killing Lincoln as Seward was wounded but would survive and Johnson’s would-be assassin got drunk and gave up on the attempt.
