Jim Vivenzio: Campaign About Giving Back to Sennett Community

SHARE NOW
There are two seats on the Sennett Town Council up for grabs this election season and Jim Vivenzio is hoping to fill one of them.
Speaking with Finger Lakes News Radio, he said he wants to give back to his community.
“I wanted to give back to the community,” he said. “You have to give back. Everybody needs to give back to their community because that’s where we live. You can’t just go around doing nothing. So, I wanted to do something.”
Vivenzio added that, if elected, his goals are to assure transparency and accountability in the town’s government and to make sure residents are informed about the issues that matter to them and that their voices are heard.
The Democratic candidate has previously worked for Cayuga Community College and Syracuse University as well as owning his own video production company. He currently serves as one of Sennett’s two town historians.
Vivenzio is running against incumbent councilor Robert Edmunds, a Republican, and Highway and Water & Sewer Superintendent Kristopher Lapointe, who has been endorsed by both parties.
Election Day is this upcoming Tuesday
