UPDATE:
A vehicle went up in flames after a two-car crash on Route 5 near the Byrne Dairy in the Town of Elbridge.
A State Police preliminary investigation reveals that a 2021 Subaru Outback being operated by 57-year-old Cornelia Bianco, of Syracuse, was traveling eastbound on State Route 5 when it struck a 2017 Ford Explorer being operated by 58-year-old Scotte Farrar, from Weedsport, that was slowing in the left lane to turn into a parking lot.
The Subaru then caught on fire and became fully engulfed in flames.
Bianco was able to make it out of the vehicle before it caught on fire. Both Bianco and Farrar were evaluated on scene by Jordan Ambulance and declined transport to the hospital.
Bianco was issued a traffic ticket for following too closely.

The Jordan Fire Department was sent to a two-car crash with possible injuries in the Town of Elbridge Friday night. The Mottville Fire Company was dispatched as mutual aid to assist with the accident.
No one was serious injured in the crash.
New York State Police are Investigating the crash.
