The Cayuga Museum of History & Art is launching a new summer camp for middle schoolers.

The CASE (Culture, Art, Science, and Environment) Camp is designed to teach those 12-14 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) topics through learning, hands-on activities, and games.

Speaking with Finger Lakes News Radio, Director of Development & Outreach Geoff Starks said that, each day, campers will have the opportunity to participate in an activity related to the museum’s mission of supporting history and the arts. The second part of the day will see campers working with museum partners on activities and lessons related to the theme of the day.

“Each day is going to have a really cool, distinctive focus along that STEAM theme for the camp, so we’re really excited to get this off the ground.”

The weeklong camp will run from Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11, at the museum.

The cost to attend the camp is $100 per student with registration due by June 27. Scholarships are available for those who cannot otherwise afford to attend camp. To register, visit the museum’s website. For more information, contact Starks at 315-253-8051 or [email protected].
