A new Women, Infants, Children (WIC) clinic location is now open in northern Cayuga County.
The Health Department is excited to announce that enrolled participants and eligible individuals will be able to have in-person appointments once a month at the clinic located at the Ira Municipal Building at 2487 West Main St, Cato. The site will be open on the second Thursday of each month from 9:30a-3:00p. Those wishing to schedule an appointment are asked to call 315-253-1406.
The Cayuga County Health Department also hosts clinic sites in Auburn and Moravia. The Moravia clinic, located at St Matthew’s Church at 14 Church St, is open on the first Thursday of each month from 9:30a-3:00p. The Auburn site’s hours are listed below.

The Auburn location is also open on the thrid and fifth Thursday of every month from 8:45a-4:00p and the fourth Thursday from 8:45-12:00p.
WIC provides a variety of services to eligible participants in the county, such as nutrition education, breastfeeding support, nutrition, and referrals. WIC also provides support to infants and children under five, including those in foster care or those living with caretakers like a dad or other family member.
