If you live in, work, or visit Cayuga County, you can help shape the county’s future.
As it works to create its new strategic plan, the Cayuga County Department of Planning & Economic Development has released its third Community Assessment Survey. The department said this survey asks community members to evaluate public services and facilities that directly affect daily life in the county, such as infrastructure, transportation networks, recreational programming, and emergency response and preparedness.
Community members, business owners, and visitors are all asked to participate in the survey, as feedback will help the department develop strategies to “strengthen public services, improve quality of life, and support long-term,
sustainable growth.”
The survey is available on the department’s website. Physical copies will be distributed at municipal offices throughout the county, with copies also available at the department’s office. The survey will remain open through February 9.
Supported by a $103,500 award, the multi-phase initiative to develop a new strategic plan is ongoing.
