Residents in the Cato-Meridian Central School District are invited to meet the district’s new superintendent.
The district has announced it will hold a Playground Chat from 5:00-7:00p on Wednesday, May 28, at the Elementary Playground. The elementary cafeteria will serve as a rain location.
Residents can enjoy an ice cream truck and meet Superintendent Dee Froio in a relaxed setting to share their thoughts about the district and begin to build relationships to help shape the district’s future.
“I’m excited to begin my journey as superintendent of Cato-Meridian, and even more excited to start building the relationships that will help us move forward together,” Froio said. “This will be a relaxed way for us to meet, connect, and start getting to know each other. All are welcome!”
Last month, the district announced that Froio had been unanimously appointed to the position by the board of education, effective July 1, ending a months-long selection process that began in January when Dr Terry Ward stepped down as superintendent.
