The Aurora Farmers’ Market will stay at Wells College for the time being.
The market announced it will remain at the Wells College Boathouse lawn for the 2024 season. The future of the market at Wells was uncertain after the college announced in April that it would close at the end of the spring 2024 semester.
The farmers’ market was able to work with the college to secure the lawn for the first six markets of its ninth season which began on May 25.
Originally, plans were in place for the market to move to a new location within the village but now the markets will remain at the boathouse lawn until the end of the season on October 5.
The Aurora Farmers’ Market runs from 10:00a-2:00p on Saturdays.
