An Auburn woman is charged with five felony counts of Leandra’s Law following the investigation into a one-car accident in Seneca Falls on Sunday.
Police say Casey Jackson was driving north on State Route 89 when her car left the road. It was determined that Jackson was allegedly driving while intoxicated with five passengers, all under the age of 16.
In addition to the five felony DWI charges, Jackson was also charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child and DWI with a BAC over .08 percent.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
