The Auburn Enlarged City School District is highlighting a program allowing students to obtain a discounted YMCA membership.
The district said the program is offered in conjunction with Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, allowing K-12 students the opportunity to get a Y membership at a 76.5% discount.
Discounted memberships are available to children currently enrolled in the district in grades K-12. Family memberships at the discounted rate are also available to families with two or more children enrolled in the district and their families.
To obtain a membership, participants will need to show proof of enrollment in the district, such as a student ID, report card, or a Parent Square App showing the students’ names.
Membership forms can be completed at the YMCA or online. Applications and proof of enrollment can then be brought to the Y.
Anyone with questions is asked to contact Auburn YMCA Member Services at 315-253-5304.
