The City of Auburn has released its 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report.
As required by state and federal regulations, the city has released a report describing the city’s drinking water quality. The report gives info on what contaminants are tested for in the city’s drinking water and what was found.
In December, the Cayuga County Health Department was notified that water sampling found trihalomethanes exceeded the standards set by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
The report also outlines future projects related to the city’s drinking water infrastructure.
