Two Cayuga County educators remain in the running for the title of America’s Favorite Teacher.
Angela Carnicelli is a special education teacher at Genesee Elementary School in Auburn. She’s currently first in her group, while Doctor Linda Townsend, a social studies teacher at Dana West Junior/Senior High in Port Byron, is currently fourth in her group.
Both women are competing for $25,000, a trip to Hawaii, and an appearance in Reader’s Digest.
