Cayuga County students can now sign up for free summer music lessons.
The Auburn Music Boosters are offering weekly half-hour instrument lessons to those in grades 3-11. No experience is necessary and those without instruments can borrow one for the summer.
The program will run from 8:00a-3:00p Mondays through Thursdays from July 1 to August 2 at the Hoopes Park Clubhouse in Auburn. The lessons will culminate with a final concert.
While the program is free, a $20 registration fee is required to cover the cost of a concert t-shirt. Registration and fees are due by June 7. Registration can be done online.
For more information, email [email protected].
The lessons are possible thanks to funding from the United Way of Cayuga County and Auburn Public Theater’s regrants program.
