Auburn City Council has approved a $35,000 contract to a Rochester firm to facilitate community dialogue on law enforcement improvements in the community.
Speaking on FLX Morning, City Clerk Chuck Mason said unanimous approval was given at last week’s City Council meeting for the Center for Governmental Research to begin work. “We will be running a facilitative process over the next several months for our police department to discuss with the community at large their policies and procedures and for us to be able to facilitate a discussion with with public to provide feedback on what they feel about the auburn police department,” said Mason.
The Center for Governmental Research will conduct several meetings with the community to gather feedback. Mason said those dates have not yet been finalized
