Auburn Council to Vote on Joining $20-Billion Opioid Settlement

Will the City of Auburn join into another settlement against opioid manufacturers?

That decision will be put to a vote at next Thursday’s City Council meeting.

20-billion dollars is being made available nationally through a settlement agreement with pharmacies including Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens.

New York State has decided to participate in the settlement agreement and now municipalities within the state can decide whether or not to join in.
