Students at Auburn High School are launching a new initiative to help ensure students at Auburn Junior High School have access to personal care items.
The Auburn High School Z Club and Auburn Education Foundation have partnered to launch Operation Wellness Closet at the junior high.
The initiative seeks to collect personal care items such as soap, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, dental floss, non-medicated lip balm, deodorant, lotion, hairbrushes, bandages, and pads or tampons. Items should be new and unopened.
Operation Wellness Closet will kick off Saturday with a drive-thru drop off from 10:00a-12:00p at Auburn Junior High. Items can also be dropped off at Auburn Community Federal Credit Union’s Wright Ave and Prospect St offices through February 13.
