Suspected overdoses continued to decline in Cayuga County in 2025.
According to the county’s overdose dashboard, 2025 saw 94 suspected overdoses reported, 93 nonfatal and one fatal. This represents a decline from the 136 suspected overdoses reported in 2024; of those, six were fatal.
2021 saw the highest number of overdoses reported, with 278 on record, 16 of which were fatal.
