A quiet Easter Sunday afternoon was disrupted in the town of Oneonta when a vehicle crashed into a home along State Highway 23.
New York State Police say the incident occurred around 5 p.m. when a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling at an unsafe speed. Investigators say the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck the residence.
The driver, an 18-year-old male from Schenevus, was taken to A.O. Fox Hospital for treatment. Authorities say impairment was not a factor in the crash.
Two people inside the home at the time were not injured.
State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
