The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has once again earned reaccreditation through New York State’s Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.
Sheriff Tim Thompson and Undersheriff Melinda Marquart recently attended a presentation at the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services in Albany, where the agency was recognized for meeting professional standards designed to promote accountability, transparency, and high-quality service to the community.
During the event, Undersheriff Marquart was also presented with the John Kimball O’Neil Certificate of Achievement. The award recognizes her leadership and dedication in helping the agency maintain the rigorous standards required for accreditation.
