An Auburn woman now faces an attempted murder charge in connection with a stabbing last May.
Kelli Vroman is accused of stabbing a mother and daughter at a home on Seymour Street on May 20. Both victims underwent emergency surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University for their injuries. Vroman was initially charged with two counts of second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. She posted $50,000 bond on November 10.
The Citizen reports the attempted murder charge was added based on medical evidence
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
