As the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office continues to try to fill positions in its custody division, it will hold an open house this Thursday.
Speaking on FLX Morning, Sheriff Brian Schenck said the event will give those interested in working at the jail a chance to meet with employees and learn more about what the job entails.
“You’ll get to meet people who work here and can talk a little bit about the job and help you learn how you can pursue this career path if you’d like to do that,” said Schenck.
The open house will take place on Thursday at 5:00p at the office’s training building located at 7445 County House Rd, Auburn.
