Residents and local businesses have an opportunity to safely recycle leftover paint this weekend. PaintCare, a national nonprofit, is hosting a free paint drop-off on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls.
Participants can drive up and have certified waste haulers remove leftover household paint, stain, and varnish directly from their vehicles. The event is contactless and designed to make recycling simple and convenient.
Organizers are also offering free paint to attendees while supplies last through PaintCare’s PaintShare program, which promotes reusing good-quality paint instead of throwing it away.
Space is limited, and those planning to attend are encouraged to register in advance through PaintCare’s Eventbrite page. The program aims to keep leftover paint out of landfills while giving residents a chance to recycle and reuse responsibly.
