A GoFundMe page has been created to support the family of Robin Sardone, who was killed in a crash in Macedon last Wednesday morning.
According to the fundraising page, Sardone “tragically lost her life due to intense fog, leaving behind her 20-year-old daughter, Emile. Robin worked tirelessly to provide for Emile, always putting her daughter’s needs first and taking pride in every one of her accomplishments. Their bond was unbreakable, and Robin’s greatest joy was watching Emile grow into the person she is today.”
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the crash at around 4 a.m. on Hance Road near Route 31F. Sardone’s vehicle went off the road and came to rest in a nearby retention pond.
The Sheriff’s Dive Team recovered the vehicle, and Sardone was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
