The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday released the name of the man killed in a crash last Friday in the Town of Williamson.
Deputies say 57-year-old Michael Henning of Marion died when his 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck went off Lake Avenue and struck a tree in the front yard of a residence. The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. about a half-mile north of Route 104.
Henning, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
