An investigation by the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force has led to the arrest of two Auburn residents.
According to the task force, an investigation into the possession, sale, and distribution of illegal narcotics resulted in the task force executing a search warrant at a residence in the city on Wednesday evening. The search allegedly turned up an undisclosed amount of cocaine, Molly, drug paraphernalia used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics, digital scales, US currency, and body armor.
As a result, 38-year-old Caroline Clark and 46-year-old Trevor Greene were arrested and each charged with two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one misdemeanor count of Intent to Sell Imitation Controlled Substances.
Both were taken to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment and ultimately released.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
