Auburn Self-Watering Flower Pot in Final 4 for “Coolest Thing Made in NY” Title

An Auburn-made product is in the running for the title of “Coolest Thing Made in New York.”

The EarthPlanter self-watering flower pots made at Bo-Mer Plastics LLC have reached the final four portion in a competition put on by Made In New York.

These are the same flower pots used by the city in its downtown area.

The flower pots are up against a cryogenic cooling system from Syracuse-based Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies Inc, in the semi-final. Voting can be done once per day through Sunday. Ballots can be cast here.
