Canandaigua Town Supervisor Jared Simpson will serve as Chairman of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
Simpson, who has been town supervisor for three years, will now serve in the same position his father Robert served in from 1989 to 1997. Simpson succeeds Todd Campbell, who is West Bloomfield town supervisor and served as board chairman since 2023.
Hopewell Town Supervisor Bill Namestnik was appointed vice chairman.
