The Prize Patrol from Publishers Clearing House, renowned for awarding over have a billion dollars in prizes nationwide, made a surprise visit to Lima, New York Tuesday afternoon.
Robert Collins was a recent winner. He got to choose between a new Ford Mustang GT or take the car’s cash value. He took the cash.
Robert and his wife Debbie were handed a check for $54,420.
They plan to take a vacation and spend some of the money at Christmas.
Robert, a bus driver for the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District, says he has played the sweepstakes for the past ten years.
