    In New York, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford and Wyoming Counties.
    WHEN
    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Turner Elected Again to Lead Ontario County Republicans

Trisha Turner of Victor will again chair the Ontario County Republican Committee after its reorganization meeting at the Elks Club in Canandaigua. Also elected were: Chris Catt of Victor, first vice chair; Gary Baxter of Geneva, second vice chair; Bonnie Ross of Canandaigua, secretary; and Rob Patnesky of Geneva, treasurer.

Turner is starting her fifth term as committee chair. She also serves as upstate vice chair of the New York State Republican Committee and president of the New York State Federation of Republican Women and the Ontario County Women’s Republican Club.

Catt serves as the chair of the Town of Victor Republican Committee. Baxter, who recently retired as Ontario County treasurer, is a member of the Geneva City Republican Committee. Ross is a former high school teacher and healthcare executive. Patnesky is retired from Zotos International in Geneva.
