Sergeant Fowler was also commended for his leadership and advocacy for his fellow officers. As a Sergeant, he always made sure that his Deputies were safe and had whatever resources they needed. During his career, he also spent time as the Seneca County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association President.

Sheriff Thompson remarked, “We will certainly miss Sergeant Fowler and K-9 Ben. They were a great team and served this community with distinction. We will also miss Sergeant Fowler’s knowledge, experience, and leadership. We wish them both the very best in retirement.”
